WhamTech's SmartData Fabric® (SDF) contains a collection of tools that solve most data access, integration, sharing and interoperability challenges faced by organizations in an innovative and unique way. SDF combines the best of data warehousing and conventional federated data access, but at the same time overcome the worst of these approaches. In fact, SDF enables true virtual data warehousing in distributed federated data systems, with aspects of virtual operational data stores and virtual data marts.

 

Note: SmartData Fabric® comprises of a query server (WhamTech SDF PG- a custom version of PostgreSQL) that provides data adapter and data federation query capabilities , a configuration/management server and client (EIQ Server and EIQ Server Configuration Tool) that help admin users to configure various types of adapters and federation virtual data sources, and a collection of associated tools used for building and maintaining EIQ Indexes, and query clients and drivers for accessing and querying adapters and federation virtual data sources.
