ddlStructure() vs ddlConstruct()

ddlStructure() Vs ddlConstruct()

The STRUCTURE and CONSTRUCT commands appear to do similar things. What is the difference?

CONSTRUCT always adds to existing structure for keyed fields. The CONSTRUCT command can be directed to the entire database, to an individual table in the database, or to a given field either locally or globally.

STRUCTURE on the other hand, can be directed only at the entire database or to a given field (globally only).

For a large volume of data, STRUCTURE executes much faster. Much faster.

With the advent of STRUCTURE/P it is very seldom that you need or would want to use CONSTRUCT.
