DDL MODE ESC Statement
MODE ESC
MODE ESC [ON/OFF]
The ESC key is used to interrupt and terminate commands and processing sequences. MODE ESC OFF turns off this interruptability, and is used to prevent interruption of critical processing sequences. MODE ESC ON re-enables the user to interrupt.
The default status is ON. MODE ESC is reset to the default status each time you do an OPEN, so if you want it OFF, you must reestablish OFF after any OPEN.
