DDL MODE CHECKUNLOG Statement MODE CHECKUNLOG

MODE CHECKUNLOG [OFF/ON/number]

OFF is the default. ON causes Thunderbolt to check every 60 seconds to see if the user has been unlogged. If so, the user is given a one minute warning and then unlogged. Unsaved document changes are discarded. Instead of ON, you can supply a number if you want the frequency of checking to be other than 60 seconds.

This statement should either be in a CONFIG file or part of everyone's stan-
dard startup procedure (the Application Procedure ). If this is true, then you could come in in the middle of the night to do data base maintenance and successfully UNLOG everybody even though their work stations are left unat- tended. You can not recompile data bases until everyone is unlogged.
